For TGA I designed the look of an event hall promoting Turkey as a destination. It was built in the venue.
El reto
The brief
El evento reunía invitados alrededor de una cena para presentar Turquía y lo que se puede hacer ahí. El salón tenía que seguir funcionando como salón —mesas, escenario, circulación— y al mismo tiempo sentirse como un viaje.
The event gathered guests around a dinner to present Turkey and what you can do there. The hall had to keep working as a hall —tables, stage, circulation— while feeling like a trip.

Design decisions
01El escenario, frente a las mesas, lleva la silueta de Estambul enmarcada en celosías rojas: es lo primero que se ve y el fondo de cada discurso.
The stage, facing the tables, carries the Istanbul skyline framed by red lattice screens: it's the first thing you see and the backdrop to every speech.
02La canasta de un globo frente a un mural de Capadocia convierte el destino en la foto que los invitados comparten.
A balloon basket in front of a Cappadocia mural turns the destination into the photo guests share.
03Tapetes, celosías y cortinas rojas se repiten en cada zona para que el salón se lea como un solo lugar.
Rugs, lattice screens and red drapes repeat in every zone so the hall reads as one place.
La planta conserva las mesas redondas, el escenario y la circulación de cualquier cena; las zonas de Turquía se acomodan en los bordes sin estorbar el servicio.
The plan keeps the round tables, the stage and the circulation of any dinner; Turkey's themed zones sit along the edges without getting in the way of service.
05La mesa turca se sirve desde una carreta con celosía roja, no desde una mesa de buffet plana: convierte el momento de comer en otra parada del recorrido.
The Turkish table is served from a cart with red lattice screens, not a flat buffet table: it turns the eating moment into another stop on the walkthrough.
06Un rincón con tapetes y cojines rojos da un lugar para sentarse aparte de las mesas de cena: un respiro entre el escenario y la comida.
A nook with rugs and red cushions gives guests somewhere to sit apart from the dinner tables: a breather between the stage and the food.
